Weekend Brunch at Northern Quarter with cocktails, doughnuts and a laid back vibe.

The weekend brunch window is very small, wise choices must be made.

At Northern Quarter weekend brunch is served from 10 - 2, when the skylight fills the room with light, and the sparkling wine and mimosas are flowing. The long room is a welcoming street level space set up to optimize acoustics for live music, and is well suited for a solo brunch at the bar or a cozy table with friends.

A seat at the bar is great for watching all the food come out of the open kitchen until you can decide on what to have. The Eggs Benny on a buttermilk biscuit with roasted garlic and miso hollandaise is a great place to start, if you haven't already ordered the miso maple doughnuts. The smoked tuna omelette, avocado toast and breakfast poutine all look great too. The locally sourced menu changes frequently with a few staples that stay put. Craft beer, BC wines by the glass, original cocktails and craft ciders come together for a great local drink menu.

Most known for the their live music and quiz nights, check their website for all the show and event listings. Tuesday - Saturday five until midnight, with weekend brunch from 10 - 2.
